Branding Future Education

St Bernard's College is a Roman Catholic boys school in Melbourne. In 2017 the school approached Fluid to create a new identity that could brand a dedicated learning hub within the college grounds at the campus in Essendon.

– Strategy
– Workshops
– Brand identity
– Brand visual language
– Wayfinding Signage

Challenge

A lack of identity for the STBC Learning and Research Centre to enable it to be expressly promoted within the college community as well as to the broader education sector who could utilise the specialist research facility. And finally for the broader community who could attend seminars and events on the school grounds.

Solution

A strategy and new brand expression that connects education outcomes with the centre’s purpose: to empower education through a rigorous research methodology that informs better pedagogy outcomes for students and teachers.

Outcome

T.Lab clearly brands the function of the new purpose-built space within the St Bernard’s College campus grounds located beneath the chapel constructed during the (10 million-dollar (check value) building upgrade. The secondary visual language invites retrospective interest posing a series of equations and Challenges for students and visitors to solve in the space.
