Leading Law Firm Branding

In 2016 the law firm Adley Burstyner was established in the pursuit of delivering access to justice for all. While class action procedures have been possible in Australia for decades, they remained beyond the reach or appetite of most; Adley Burstyner aimed to simplify access to these vital proceedings.

Challenge

Fluid was challenged to create a progressive brand for the new Adley Burstyner law firm. The team's significant experience and focus on ethical, values-driven guidance in class action lawsuits needed to be prominent.

Solution

Adley Burstyner's belief that progress occurs when individuals stand together led Fluid to utilise dramatically lit photography of starlings flocking together and schools of fish as a central visual theme. Fluid also created a new brandmark that used an arrow of direction in the centre of a capital 'B' with intersecting lines to represent both clients and firms together.

Fluid then combined the logo with a bold, confident typeface and contemporary colour palette. Distinctive touches included round cornered business cards, a striking colour palette and modern typography with bold messaging.

Outcome

The outcome was a brand that symbolises professionalism and capability. The new identity articulated a progressive offering and distinctive positioning in class action lawsuits that set Adley Burstyner apart from its competitors.
